    I stopped coming here because there is something really weird going on...this location was recently robbed and it is not surprising because of all of the strange things. Last time I went here I asked why didn't they have coleslaw and the employee said rudely" because you didnt get here on time". Okay??? Then a off duty employee who was visiting with his lady friend kept coming in and out of the front door and handling the register. This was completely unsanitary and unsafe...NO wonder this place was robbed with off duty employees playing in the register and unprofessional staff. Also, there was old soda all over the counter and the back of the restaurant looked like it had not been swept or boxes had been thrown out for an entire shift. That is where roaches and rats come from-FYI. This Popeye is a mess a hot nasty mess.

    I love Popeyes food but the general lack of customer service and getting the order accurate has happened here again and again. I am frequently missing items that I ordered and unfortunately don't realize it until I'm halfway home. Many times when I pull up to the drive thru, right when they open, I'm told they're out of a certain item or most of the pop isn't working in the machine so I'll have to order something else. When I have taken the time to comment to the Popeyes customer service survey I received no response.

    It is a good thing I know what popeye's is suppose to be like, because if this was my first time to a popeye's I would never go back. This store is horrible!! They have advertising for fish & shrimp, no fish & only 1 order of popcorn shrimp. No Mac & cheese. The biscuits were hard & dry. And to top it off the bathrooms were atrocious & no changing table & I sure was not going to change my granddaughter in there. We went to a rest area.

    I have been to this place about 5 times over the last year, since it opened, and it is horrible each visit. The first time I was there, which was during the grand opening, the manager (whom was taking orders) kept on yelling at his employees. Everyone could see him yelling, both customers and employees. If this place is busy, there is usually garbage overflowing out of the garbage bins. The employees are not very well trained, they must not get any training or assistance when they start. I never go to this place by choice, it is always a bad experience. Head on down the road to Chik-fil-A. I hate to say it, but I always get great customer service by everyone there.

    I've been a Popeye's fan for years. I Ordered the 16 piece family meal Friday at the new Coon Rapids Popeye's. The sign said, "Family Meal, $19.99, 16 Pieces, includes 3 large sides" The order rang up at $35.99. I asked how it went from $19.99 to $35? The woman at the register said the $19.99 was for chicken only. I pointed to the sign, "it says includes 3 large sides." She saw that the sign said that, and called for Z or Zeke the manager. He came to the front and told me that price was for chicken only. I said, "That's not what the sign says. Don't you have to give it to me at that price?" He laughed and said, "No". Then he said,"Yeah, what do you want me to do about it. It ain't free." Then walked away. I ordered a scaled down order. The only reason I didn't just leave was because I promised my kids Popeye's for supper. While waiting, Zeke got on the phone and the menu board then changed to correct the price. A GOOD manager would have apologized, given me the posted price and then corrected the menu board.. Hey Zeke, I won't be back to your store. Was 3 large sides really worth that?

    Our first couple visits were certainly more positive. Chicken was good,service was what one would expect for a fast food restaurant. Last couple times there has been a mistake in our order and the service was even worse than one would expect. Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice, I'll get my chicken elsewhere.

    I used to go to this location after work since it was on my way home. I always had good experiences until about a month or two ago. The last two times I had been to this location I have been upsold. I have been given a large fountain drink when I wanted the medium size that came with the combo. At first I thought that they were out of medium cups, or were giving me a free upgrade for waiting for the order. I am not sure if the empoyees/store get incentives for selling bigger sized products, but I do not appreciate this. Especially since they process your payment first then hand you the drink. It is not worth the time to give the drink back have them make the right size, then get refunded the difference...so I just sucked it up. Luckily I don't work in this part of town anymore so I won't be back. The Eden Prairie Popeyes in my neighborhood has it's issues too though.

    wow, this particular location is in some kind of transition, but it is taking too long... besides that, managers, shift managers, and crew members are (never) working their right shifts... all the work usually ends up with only "2" workers and even they (not both) because the shift manager gets all the work and duties of the restaurant so the others can leave... so. the few are left to do all the cleaning and that doesn't get done right either so the morning crew has to finish what the night shift didn't supposedly have time to finish the night before.. it's pretty sad, when one person can basically run this restaurant but a whole crew can't or just won't.... yes i said this and i'm sticking to it, because it is the truth.... c'mon owners or district managers... get with it and this would be the perfect location for a great running popeye's restaurant.... please? thank you for listening/reading this post

    I like this location when they get my order right. I have been when they first opened my order was right. After that they weren't hiring people who were giving good customer service. The last time I was there they were getting better.

    Eat at Pizza Ranch. Not so good. The sides are quite questionable... so much I pondered "should I continue to eat this will I suffer ailments of my digestive system later?" Chicken is merely okay. Small portions for family side orders, barely edible, got our order incorrect. Friendly, though.

    Coon Rapids location has phenomenal customer service. From management to server all are very polite. It's clean. Product is consistent. Hot foods hot cold food is cold. When there is an error they go out of their way to make it right. This is why I keep coming back! I was there around 11 am today and had best service. Shrimp po boy is delicious. Thanks Popeyes !

    Apparently the chicken tenders weren't thawed out this morning. 25 minute ticket times because they only had 3 people working. Frustrating.
